Apocalyptic and New Testament Theology
We are witnessing a renaissance of interest in apocalyptic literature and its theology. The Johannine Dualism
The Two Worlds
The most difficult problem in the Johannine theology is its apparently different dualism from that of the Synoptics. The dualism in the Synoptic Gospels is primarily horizontal: a contrast between two ages -- this age and the Age to Come. The dualism of John is primarily vertical: a contrast between two worlds -- the world above ...read

The Kingdom of God in the Jewish Apocryphal Literature - Table of Contents
It is important for the thoughtful student of New Testament eschatology to possess an accurate understanding of Jewish eschatological expectations in New Testament times. There are several reasons for this. Scholars have often maintained that Jesus was influenced by and shared the views of His contemporaries. Epoch-making in modern Biblical critici ...read
