A SPIRITUAL "CHECK-UP". Billy Sunday once said - "Some people take so many pills their joints look like ball bearings."
It's a sick, sick world.
With such a lot of medical problems around, it is always a good idea to get a physical check-up at least a couple of times a year.
These physical check-ups cost a little time and a little more inconvenience...
Counterfeit Conversion - Part One
Over one hundred years ago, revival swept America. Thousands of souls entered the Kingdom of God under the searching sermons of a humble servant of Christ, Charles G. Finney. It has been estimated that over half a million were converted to God as a direct result of his ministry, and that by a conservative estimate over 80% remained true to Christ ...read
Counterfeit Conversion - Part Three
"For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God" (John 12:43).
This verse describes men who refused to confess that Jesus was the Christ because He was extremely unpopular with the scribes and Pharisees, leaders of Jerusalem.
These men were, of course, never saved. They chose to respect men rather than God, and as a result ...read
Counterfeit Conversion - Part Two
Much is said today about the "carnal Christian." Such a one, we are told, has made Jesus "Savior" but not Lord. It appears by this that a man can be saved, but not surrendered to Christ; following Him, but still serving self. And it is easy to see why this idea has arisen. Preachers and personal workers are at a loss to explain the strange co ...read

God's greatest problem is summed up in one little word: S-I-N. Heaven is at battle stations today because sin has invaded the human race and the moral Universe. It is high time the Church knew her enemy! Her first enemy is not the Devil, it is not death, it is not despair. Her enemy is SIN, and unless she learns to understan ...read
PEOPLE PLEASERS What about those old "friends" who stay around to tempt you or drag you down?
All friendships made for selfish reasons before your conversion must go on the altar of sacrifice with all other things that belonged to your past life. All future friendships as well as those you keep from the past must be made or kept with the motive of WILLING the ...read

The King and His Kingdom All studies of the Kingdom of Heaven must begin with the King Himself. No kingdom is greater than its king, nor more wise or powerful than the one who is best qualified to rule it. The Bible tells us about this King, the greatest Ruler of all, the King of all Kings. If we study it carefully what does it tell us about this Creator-God of all men?
THE NATURE OF SIN WHAT WENT WRONG?
Adam and Eve awoke in a world of loveliness. Made as a tiny replica of their Heavenly Father, having in finite miniature the abilities and qualities of God, they were given His law of love to live by. The first man and his lovely wife walked and talked with God in the garden paradise that was Eden. There was no sickness, pain or ...read
