"And He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True" Revelation 19:11
To no one else could this title be applied but the Lord Jesus, who was Himself the Way, the Truth and the Life. He was faithful to the truth always and faithful in its application, whether in promises of blessings or cursing. Listen to the precious promise, "I will come again and receive you unto Myself that where I am, there ye may be also." But the other is equally true, "Depart from Me, ye workers of iniquity. There shall be weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth." There is no change in Him, the Living Word, and not one jot or tittle can be changed in the Written Word.
Lord, we believe in Thee and in Thy Word. May we never depart from it. Keep us faithful and true to Thee until the long expected call comes and we shall be taken up to be with Thee forever. Amen.
