By Bible Names of God

      "I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore." Revelation 1:18

      He liveth and abideth forever. He ever liveth to make intercession for us. In love for us and through grace He died for us. He bowed His head and gave up His Spirit. The bars of death were broken. He tore them away. He is living now and will live to the ages of ages, and He holds the keys of death and hell (or Hades). "He has the keys"-the complete mastery. He has the right to open and shut. Binding and loosing are at His command. The sting of death is sin and the strength of sin is the law, but thanks be to God who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!

      Praise be to Thy name, Thou Victor over death! We await Thy coming and the shout from Heaven. Amen.
