      Jesus Christ raised Lazarus from the dead, but He Himself came forth from the grave by His own power. Lazarus died again, but Jesus Christ "ever liveth to make intercession for us." He was the first-born of the dead. He is the forerunner of the saints who shall also be raised from the dead. "But now is Christ risen from the dead and become the first-fruits of them that slept." "We know that when He shall appear, we shall be like Him for we shall see Him as He is." "Who shall change our vile body that it may be fashioned life unto His glorious body."

      Our Lord, we look and long for Thy coming in Thy glorified body that we may be with Thee and like Thee. Amen.
