"This is the True God, and eternal life." 1 John 5:20
Jesus if "the True God" and He is "Eternal Life" also. Human life is eternal, for it must be lived here or in another world. It must be spent in the heart of God our Savior, or in the abode of Satan. "Where will you spend eternity?" is one of the most solemn questions ever asked of men. The only answer is found in God's Word, and it is answered there a hundred times and in a hundred ways. To believers, eternity means life with God our Savior, and we look forward with joyful anticipation; but to the unsaved, it is a fearful prospect.
Lord, help us in dealing with people to be truthful and loving as we paint the pictures of a future without a Savior. Amen.
