"And He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world." 1 John 2:2
The sin question is the great question. Sin separates us from God. His wrath against sin must be appeased, satisfied, and the provision for that satisfaction is in Him Son (Romans 3:25): "Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood...,through the forbearance of God." Wonderful love of God the Father; wonderful love of Jesus, His Son our Savior; wonderful love of the Holy Spirit, the One who makes the fact of propitiation clear to us through the Word! How is the "whole world" to know this truth? Someone must go. Will we go?
Oh, Loving Lord, Thy love is wonderful. The price Thou hast paid is wonderful. Help us today to tell out the wonderful story. Amen.
