"And to Jesus, the Mediator of the New Covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than of Able." Hebrews 12:24
The Christian life is a strange life, a journey through wilderness experiences, but we always have something better before us. The door posts are sprinkled with blood. We are safe. Old things have passed away. The blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanseth us from all sin. The blood speaks of His sacrificial, finished work. Let our eyes rest upon cross. Let us see the blood. Let us rest under it. Let it separate us from a sinful world and make of us witnesses to its cleansing power, and let us magnify its efficacy to a sin-sick world.
Lord, give us the needed grace to witness today and every day to the efficacy of the atoning blood of the New Covenant. Amen.
