"Who...when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty of high" Hebrews 1:3
How lightly we think of sin. It is so common that we fail to view it is God's light. "Coming short of the glory of God" is sin. Sin has never changed because human nature has never changed. Every child born into this world is born with the Adam and Eve nature. There is no exception. One sin makes a sinner and shuts the door to Heaven. Christ came as the Sin-purger and opened the door to Heaven. We need only to tell our fellowmen the story and point them to the open door. "I am the Door," He says. "By Me, if any man enter in he shall be saved." God help us to tell hungry-hearted men the story.
OH, Thou Sin-purger, we give unto Thee all the praise and ask for tender hearts in telling the story to sinful men. Amen.
