"Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son." Colossians 1:13
To "His dear Son" is here attributed the deliverance and translation of the believer from the power of Satan, the ruler of this dark world. Ignorant of Him, millions are dwelling today, controlled by the power of a Satanic nature, resisting His Word, and doomed to eternal darkness. There is but One who can deliver men. It is His dear Son. We are the possessors of this truth and have experienced it. How can we, how dare we, be indifferent to the blinded souls all around us when His dear Son is longing to have them respond to His call, "Come unto Me?"
Oh, Thou beloved Son, make us light-bearers to darkened souls today. Amen.
