"To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse; Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." Colossians 1:2
Master! Saviour! Anointed! Here, as in many other places in the epistles, we have a combination of names. "Grace and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." They are One. Mystery of mysteries! Hundreds of name and titles are given to Him, but after all, He has said, "I and my Father are One. He that hath seen Me hath seen the Father." When he descends from Heaven we will see Him in whom all of these titles are vested. Grace has its fountain in Him, and always in every emergency and under every condition and circumstance, His grace will be sufficient.
Gracious Lord Jesus Christ, manifest Thy grace unto us today. Amen.
