"Im whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine upon them." 2 Cor. 4:4
Satan is the god of this world and the prince of the power of the air. The eyes of every unsaved person have been blinded to the vision of Christ who is the image of God. Their minds are on earthly things in which there is no joy, no peace, no satisfaction. Satan hates our Lord with a bitter hatred, and as the days pass and the coming of the Lord draws near, Satan's blinding powers are more and more manifest. This fact should stir our hearts to increased desire and intensified purpose to present to the unsaved, Jesus, the Image of God, who is so precious to us.
Lord Jesus, fill us with Thy Holy Spirit and give us a passion for the blinded souls of the unsaved. Amen.
