"But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ...the wisdom of God." 1 Cor. 1:24
To those who are called he is the Wisdom of God. The Bible teaches us that wisdom is the principal thing and, therefore, we should seek wisdom and Him who is the storehouse of wisdom. "Never man spake like this Man." "If any man lack wisdom, let him ask in faith, nothing wavering." "Giving doth not impoverish Him." "The wisdom of the world is foolishness with Him." Then let us be wise and seek the wisdom that passeth all understanding.
Lord, as we face the duties and privileges of this day, guide us by Thy wisdom to Thy praise and glory. Amen.
