      "For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that He might be lord both of the dead and living." Romans 14:9

      Christ is the center of all affairs as related to this earth. He rules. He reigns. He keeps books and some day those books are to be opened. Adam and Eve and everyone that has ever lived will be there to answer to the call. Saints (or saved ones) will be judged for their manner of living. That will be one judgment. There can be no evasions, no exceptions. All accounts must be faced and settled. Men should live in that prospect. How blessed for those whose sins are covered by the blood! But how sorrowful for even those if they have now sought to do their best for Him!

      Oh, Lord, may the words of our mouths and the thoughts of our hearts be pleasing to Thee this day. Amen.
