"For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren" Romans 8:29
A wonderful title for our Lord, "The First Born!" Adam was the first born among men, but he forfeited his rights and privileges through sin and God ordained another Man to be the First, who was to be born of a woman, and be the Head of a great company of brethren. God has plans for the human race and is carrying them out as the years come and go. Jesus is the "First Born" and we who are "born-again" ones are, by His grace, being conformed to His image, and, when He comes from Heaven, we will be among the sons of God and united forever to and with Him.
"Jesus Christ, our Lord"-we breathe the words with joyful lips and give Thee thanks for that grace which has saved and which keeps us. Amen.
