"Because Thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt Thou suffer Thine Holy One to see corruption" Acts 2:27
The Godhead and manhood were united in Christ, and it was impossible that He should be holden by the power of death. He passed through the agony; He paid the penalty; He suffered the separation; but death could not hold Him. The unfailing Word of God had promised His resurrection and so "up from the grave He arose." He hath broken the bars of death from us and in the freedom of the new life, with glorified bodies, we will be forever with Him.
Lord, help us to live a life approved of God, so that through us wonders may be wrought in the salvation of souls. Amen.
