"Jesus of Nazareth, a Man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by Him in the midst of you." Acts 2:22
This is the testimony of Peter, the fisherman-apostle, concerning our Lord, Jesus of Nazareth. "A Man approved of God!" He professed to be the promised Messiah, the Son of God, and made good His profession by His public life. His miraculous works were the proof of miraculous power. He was God in human form. He set His followers the example for holy living. When believers are anointed of the Holy Spirit and seek by lip and life to honor their Lord, the approval of God the Father will be upon them.
Lord, help us to live a life approved of God, so that through us wonders may be wrought in the salvation of souls. Amen.
