Luke 6:5 And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.
He is the Master (Lord, Rabbi) of the Sabbath. He is the Maker of Heaven and Earth. "Without Him nothing was Made that is Made!" He is either what He claimed to Be, or else He is the greatest impostor that ever lived! The Sabbath was Made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. It is lawful to do good on the Sabbath. He, with His disciples, plucked and ate the wheat on the Sabbath, and on the Sabbath He healed the man with the withered hand. The Sabbath is the Lord's Day. Solve your problems in connection with the Sabbath Day by the question, "What would the Lord do on this day?" Then whatsoever you do, whether ye eat or drink, do all to the glory of God! (...and do it -WITH- the Lord - as did His disciples!)
