      Luke 1:47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

      The word "Saviour" here is "Soter" meaning "presence". Should we not imitate Mary, the blessed woman, in magnifying our Saviour and rejoicing in the finished work which He wrought in our behalf? It is never what we are, but what He is. Our joy is in Him and we rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory as we face this day with joyful hearts. Shall we not have a tender heart for those who do not know Him?

      Saviour, like a shepherd lead us today to glorify Thy name in our efforts to win souls for Thee. Amen.
