      Luke 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

      This is the message of the angel to Mary and here is a remarkable coincidence. In Mark 5:7, we have the evil spirit in the man in the tombs giving a similar title to Jesus, "Son of the Most High God". The title here given Him, is in fulfillment of Ps 132:11; "The Lord hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne". David's heir is to reign as Son of the Most High God, and that time only awaits for the completion of the Church which is His Body. Let us do our best each day to win souls for Him and thus hasten the day when we shall be with Him and reign with Him.

      Son of the Highest, we bow to Thee, we worship Thee. Help us to magnify Thy name today. Amen.
