      Zech 13:7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man [that is] my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

      What a startling cry from the Lord of Hosts! Turn now and read Matthew 26 and 27 and you have before you the interpretation of this wonderful prophesy. "Smite the Shepherd", and He WAS smitten and the sheep were scattered. He is the Good Shepherd and He gave His Life for His sheep. He is "Jehovah's Fellow" --- His equal --- His Companion --- for "all that dwell upon the face of the earth shall worship Him!" (Rev 13:8) Do we recognize what it means to be a fellow-worker with "God's Fellow?"

      Help us, Thou Mighty One, to lay at Thy blessed, pierced feet our all and do our best to glorify Thy name. Amen.
