Mica 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, [though] thou be little among the thousands of Judah, [yet] out of thee shall he come forth unto me [that is] to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth [have been] from of old, from everlasting. {everlasting: Heb. the days of eternity}
The ages past and the ages to come are linked in Him. He always has been and always will be a Ruler. He was Promised - He CAME! He is Promised - He will COME! We see Him as the Babe of Bethlehem, the Carpenter of Nazareth, the Crucified Christ. Now, by faith, we see Him as the eternal Ruler over all the worlds, yet with scarred hands and feet. With Him we shall rule and reign throughout the countless ages of eternity, Hallelujah!
Our hearts go out to Thee, our Everlasting Ruler, we are Thine. Thou art ours. Have Thine own way in our hearts and lives. Amen.
