      Song 1:13 A bundle of myrrh [is] my wellbeloved unto me; he shall lie all night betwixt my breasts.

      Myrrh was one of the ingredients in the holy anointing oil which was used to anoint Aaron and the priests. Our Lord was "anointed with the oil of gladness" and He is the Joy of His own. When we come to God The Father we must come in the Name of Jesus Christ, because that Name is to God a "sweet smelling savour". Marvel of marvels, that we, poor undone sinners, should find through the Blood shed on Calvary access to the Throne, and a hearty, heavenly welcome into fellowship -WITH- Himself!

      Lord Jesus, we seek Thy presence with holy desire for Thy pierced hand upon our heads this day. Amen.
