By Bible Names of God
Song 1:3 Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name [is as] ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee.
Does this not instantly bring to our minds Mary and her alabaster box of ointment, the fragrance of which has come down to us through the centuries? Is the name of Christ as precious ointment upon us? Do others recognize it? Are we seeking to live in such fellowship -WITH- Him that the fragrance of His Life is manifested in ours [as in Acts 4:13]? "Rich the roses' perfume, but richer far than they, The countless charms that round Thy person lay; That Name alone more fragrant than the rose, Glads everyone on whom its fragrance flows."
Dear Lord, may our lives be perfumed by Thy presence this day. Amen.
